Objectives of the Association
The Association shall promote the common interest of the industry with regard to supranational, international and national organisations and with regard to the participants of the international market, except any activity whatsoever that could restrict or distort competition or infringe the rules of the Competition Laws or any other rules concerning trade practices.
To fulfil the afore mentioned objectives the Association will engage in the following activities which shall not be deemed as exclusive:

To fulfil the afore mentioned objectives the Association will engage in the following activities which shall not be deemed as exclusive:
- to obtain and exchange information necessary to fulfil the objectives of the Association as stated above;
- to promote the efficiency of the industry and its exercise of business;
- to promote the interests of the industry and enhance it in the international market;
- to promote a high quality level and safety standard in the EU;
- to represent the industry in all matters related to the establishment or revision of technical standards for High Pressure Cylinders;
- to represent the industry in all matters related to Custom Regulations, and to act on its own behalf in any event of unfair trade;
- to keep the European Commission and any other organisation - supranational, international, national, state, semi-state or non-governmental - advised on the needs and concerns of the industry;
- to respond on behalf of the members to any questions of any organisation concerning the industry;
