European Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1711 of 4 August 2025 imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of high-pressure seamless steel cylinders originating in the People’s Republic of China

 

ECMA welcomes the announcement on 4th August from the European Commission that duties would be placed on imports of unfairly subsidised seamless steel high pressure gas cylinders from China.

For many years ECMA Members have been subjected to unfair competition from cylinders produced in China. These duties will assist in levelling the playing field for European producers of high-pressure seamless steel gas cylinders. They will mean that ECMA Members can continue to invest in Europe and develop new products.

 

ECMA would like to express our thanks to all parties involved in reaching this decision.
